  1. Loved your story. Black History Month is progress. I’m old enough to remember when it was just Black History Week. Maybe someday all people will recognize Black History everyday. All of us have so much more to learn.

  3. Thank you for this peek behind the curtain. The crucial question for me is audience. Yes, one wants to reach the people in the pews. But the people who need the message, who need to take the message to heart, who need to change are the ones out there in the dominant, and in this case, oppressive culture, the very ones King was talking to in his letter from the Bermingham jail.
