  1. This is an excellent story. It really makes me think about what dream(s) I need to birth. Thank you for sharing these encouraging words. God Bless you.

  2. Thank you for this word of encouragement. I have so many dreams, I don’t where to start. May God continue to bless you as you encourage others. Strive for the best and continue to live victoriously!

  3. Our writing group, See Jane Write, just held a 2023 goal setting workshop. I chose the words Renaissance and Passion to guide me through next year. To read what you said— “. . . you know it’s time to birth something new” and “People need your music, writing, creativity, business savvy… Whatever you are passionate about”—are signs that the universe is with me. Thanks for such an encouraging message.

  4. Thank you for sharing your thoughts in this powerful and relatable way. I know there are plenty of people who fit the description of being in labor who do not even realize it. Being able to name it leads to being g able to claim it, deliver it, grow it. Prayerful for many births in 2023!

  5. This was God’s timing indeed. Thank you for being His vessel of encouragement and kick in the pants, lol. I am currently in a transitional period – not of my choosing but I’m recognizing that I can go through it kicking, screaming and afraid and miss the beauty of a new birth – or Not. I’m challenging myself to embrace it, learn from it and work through it – unearth those dreams and hopes so I can birth something new.

  6. I will admit that I have been stalling my entire life, doing what I believed I needed to do. Not what I wanted to do with my life. I am always the one to encourage, motivate, help others, but never do the same for myself. Of course others look to me and ask me for help or guidance which I am always willing to provide, even when they exhaust me. But what about my own dreams? I am in need of a mentor for myself, to help me to get started on my path, but how do I find one. I know what my dream is. I just need to take that first leap of faith. I believe that we all have a purpose and I know mine. I just need to do it today and not wait any longer. I need to birth it, to exhale as I tell others to do. I need to get out of my own way and I know this.

  7. This is so profound. It’s as though you’re in my head. As I was reading this passage and making the connection between a dream and giving birth to the dream it hit me. What or why have I been so slow in doing what I love most? I am a writer.
