  1. This is a great read, with such a refreshing outlook!
I’ll be sure to share it.
Keep prioritizing and celebrating “your” freedom Black woman, for as long as you can.

  2. This is awesome! I’m going to share this with my daughter and nieces. They are just starting their careers and this will serve them well. Thanks for sharing and even more importantly, thanks for making a difference.

  3. I have found in my many seasons of life….AND believe me I have had many seasons….That chapters…. in life…. created different levels of freedom and self awareness, and goals for that matter.

Each chapter/season in life brings you to a new awareness and defining time of self.

  4. I enjoyed this story because it resonates so loudly as to where I am in my life right now. Freedom to be me has been something I have never had. Having to walk in the shoes of others so to speak, that just didn’t fit me. I applaud the Author for choosing her own path and freedom.

  5. Wonderful message. I am realizing at the age of 62 years, I always did what others wanted and or told me to do. So very sad! My eyes are slowly opening as I reflect on a daily basis my Mom’s recent passing, the pandemic and all the craziness in the world. It saddens me and I can admit I am scared.
