  2. What a beautiful story. My sister and I went through a similar situation but things between us were so much better once we learned to appreciate how much we really meant to each other. She is gone now but I cherish the memories that bring me tears and laughter as I remember some of the wonderful times we spent together. Thank you so much for sharing your story as it warmed my heart. You and your sister are God’s gift to you both.

  3. What a beautifully intimate journey you took us on, Eniola. Thank you. I didn’t grow up with sisters of my own but I have a cousin who is like a sister to me and I’ve often wrestled with some of the same things you share in this story. I think it’s a beautiful thing to be able to take a step back, get curious and grow out of that curiosity. Relationally, I’m learning that while sometimes it seems harder than walking away, it’s pays to stick it out in the end. “…a friendship forged in choice.”. There’s nothing better than mutual choice and understanding in a relationship.
